What do I need to film a swing?

A phone at about hip height, face-on or down the line, whole body in frame, sound on. Do not trim the clip — CaddieInsight finds each strike from the sound of impact. Several swings in one clip are fine; leave a few seconds between balls. The full checklist is on How CaddieInsight Works.

How accurate are the numbers?

They are automated estimates from a single camera, and we label them exactly that way. Lateral measurements are normalized by your shoulder width at address, so they stay comparable across sessions and camera distances — which is what matters for training, because the trend is the signal. They are not a substitute for instruction from a teaching professional.

Does CaddieInsight work for left-handed golfers?

Yes. Choose your handedness when you upload and the analysis adjusts, including which direction counts as away from the target.

What does the free plan include?

One full analysis per calendar month, free forever — and it is the complete report: key-position strip, centerline overlay, quarter-speed slow motion, metrics table, coaching notes, and a practice plan. When that analysis produces a coaching-ready baseline, one matched re-film within 14 days — same club, same view — is also free, so you can prove the practice worked without paying a cent.

What does Pro add?

Three things. Unlimited analyses — film every session instead of once a month. The annotated coach replay — your own footage played back with your tracked body, your hand path, and the numbers appearing at each swing event. And the progress dashboard — every metric charted session over session so a fix shows up as a moving line. A month is $9.99, the Season Pass year is $69.99 — $5.83 a month, 42% under the monthly rate — and the Founders Pass is $149 once, capped at the first 100 members.

How does Pro activate after I buy it here?

Through your checkout email. Buy CaddieInsight Pro in this store and the app matches the order to the account using the same email, then extends Pro automatically — 31 days for the 1-month option, 365 days for the Season Pass, and for good with the Founders Pass.

I bought Pro before creating an app account. Is it lost?

No. The purchase waits for you. When that email address signs up — or logs in — the Pro time is claimed automatically.

What is the Founders Pass?

One payment of $149, and Pro stays active on your account for as long as CaddieInsight runs — no renewal, no expiry. It is capped at the first 100 members: a lifetime product is only honest if we can afford to keep running it, so we cap how many exist. It pays for itself against the Season Pass in your third season. Anyone who bought the earlier Lifetime plan keeps it, exactly as sold.

Can I cancel?

If you choose a subscription option at checkout, it renews automatically — cancel anytime from your store account and Pro keeps running to the end of the period you have paid for. A one-time pass grants a set number of days and simply expires on its own; nothing renews behind your back. The Founders Pass never renews — there is nothing to cancel. Unused Pro time is refundable within 14 days of purchase.

Gear and shipping

Does the gear require a Pro membership?

No. Every training aid works on its own, and each maps to a drill you can run with or without the app. Free-plan reports include the same practice plan and the same tag-matched gear recommendations as Pro reports.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed in 1–2 business days and US delivery typically takes 6–12 business days, with tracking emailed at dispatch. Gear ships directly from partner warehouses — that is part of how the prices stay where they are, and it is why transit takes longer than a next-day warehouse would.

What is the return policy on gear?

30 days, no questions asked, on unused gear. Reply to your order confirmation email and we will send return instructions.

Can I get a refund on Pro?

Yes — within 14 days of purchase, provided the time has not been used. Details on Shipping & Returns.
